Proudlock Associates Ltd is committed to making our website accessible and we will continue to search for ways to improve web accessibility.
Web accessibility standards
This site tries to ensure that:
- All images in our sites contain appropriate alternate text, or are labelled as decorative
- Website users have the option to increase the contrast of the colour scheme, add greyscale, or enlarge the font across the website
- The tab key navigation is enabled to allow users to quickly navigate page contents and links
- Pages and images are optimised to load quickly and smoothly
- Foreground and background colours are checked to ensure sufficient contrast, or given alternative text in the case of images
- Our content is written clearly and in plain English
- All pages use headings
- All ‘calls to action’ highlighted with icons and/or different colour font or underlined
- Symbols (e.g. >) are used in context and for their semantic use
- Consistent navigation and page layouts are used
- We use cascading style sheets (CSS) to control layout and presentation
- We use JavaScript (a widely used scripting language) to enable rollover menus and conditional content visibility.
